Membership certificates and vital documents for members of the McKee family. One unusual piece is a set of coupons given to Judson McKee in 1874 by Isaac Bragg. Each of the four coupons allowed a certain amount to be deducted from a purchase at Bragg's store. Includes Dema McKee's will, leaving land to grandson Delos B. McKee and a drawing of the residence of Albert McKee. Bertha Louisa McKee Lewie received admission to the Daughters of the American Revolution and was a member of the National Society of New England Women, the National Geographic Society, and the Connecticut Historical Society. Bertha's husband, Thomas J. Lewie was a member of the Order of United Commercial Travelers, appointed as a census agent in 1917, and a member of Hartford's Sphinx Temple. Marriage certificates are for Austin McKinney and Jennie McKee; Frank Lorenzo Stone and Georgie Bille McKinney; Revillo McKee and Alice L. Humphrey. Birth certificates are for Bertha Louisa McKee and Thomas John Lewie. Alice Humphrey attended Sunday School at the Black River Methodist Episcopal Church. Thomas John Lewie was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary's Church in Manchester, Connecticut. Bertha Lewie became a member of Center Congregational Church in South Manchester, Connecticut.
